Senior Data Analyst - Claims

Location - Leicester, London or Bexhill - Hybrid (approx. once per month in your chosen office location)

Role overview

This role is within our Claims Analytics team, supporting the business with robust MI and analytical insights. Your focus will be on identifying opportunities to reduce claims costs and enhance efficiency.

Job responsibilities

1. Deliver insights into claims and fraud performance.
2. Monitor, analyze, and communicate key performance drivers, proposing value-added ideas.
3. Manage projects from inception to completion, utilizing quantitative and qualitative analysis.
4. Engage with stakeholders, translating complex data into understandable business language.
5. Support initiatives to influence claims management, operational spending, and customer outcomes.
6. Assist in scoping, implementing, and evaluating strategies, streamlining processes, and strengthening controls.

Essential skills

• Proven experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), programming languages (Python, SQL, R), and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent communication skills for interpreting and presenting complex data to stakeholders.
• Experience in coaching or mentoring analysts is preferred.

Interview process

3. Second interview involving a case study and competency assessment with team members.
