Job summary

TripAdvisor LLC is seeking a Sr Data Analyst for Search Marketing to own analytics across SEM/SEO, measure performance, and explore AI-driven insights. You’ll partner with channel owners, drive experimentation, and translate data into strategies that grow traffic and revenue.

A strong SQL background, data visualization experience, and curiosity about AI are essential. You will collaborate across CRM, Display, and Affiliate Marketing, contributing to scalable reporting and faster decision making

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an analytical field required.
• 3–5 years in an analytical role, ideally at a fast-paced ecommerce company.
• Strong SQL skills and comfort with large, complex datasets.
• Basic proficiency in Python.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker).
• Solid understanding of statistical testing and experimentation.
• Genuine interest in AI applications to analytics.
• Strong communication abilities for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze search performance and translate into actionable insights for marketing.
• Ensure accurate, reliable measurement of search channel performance.
• Support experimentation and analyze incrementality tests across search channels.
• Track the SERP and monitor impact of algorithm updates on performance.
• Analyze competitive landscape and search demand trends to guide bidding.
• Stay ahead on AI search and propose concrete AI-driven recommendations.
• Monitor daily trading and flag trends or anomalies early.
• Collaborate with CRM, Display, and Affiliate Marketing teams; engage ML colleagues.
