Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced dams and reservoirs professional to join the Water Catchment Management team in the UK. You will lead dam and reservoir engineering projects from feasibility through to detailed design, delivering innovative solutions that protect communities and critical infrastructure.

You will collaborate with hydrology, geotechnics, hydraulics and environmental specialists, mentor engineers, and build lasting client relationships while upholding safety and engineering

Qualifications

• Significant experience in dam and reservoir engineering.
• Strong knowledge of reservoir appraisal, inspection, design and asset management.
• Experience delivering projects across feasibility, outline and detailed design stages.

Responsibilities

• Delivering dam and reservoir engineering appraisal and design projects.
• Supporting schemes from pre-feasibility through to detailed design.
• Providing technical leadership across project work packages.
• Mentoring and supporting the development of engineers and technical professionals.
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Building strong client relationships and contributing to successful project outcomes.
• Championing safety, quality and engineering excellence in everything you do.
