Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced dams and reservoirs professional to join our Water Catchment Management team in the UK. You’ll contribute to the delivery of high-profile dam and reservoir projects, spanning feasibility to detailed design, while mentoring engineers and leading technical work within multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in dam and reservoir engineering.
• Strong knowledge of reservoir appraisal, inspection, design and asset management.
• Experience delivering projects across feasibility, outline and detailed design stages.
• Ability to lead technical work and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered status (or working towards it) with a relevant professional institution.

Responsibilities

• Delivering dam and reservoir engineering appraisal and design projects
• Supporting schemes from pre-feasibility through to detailed design
• Providing technical leadership across project work packages
• Mentoring and supporting the development of engineers and technical professionals
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges
• Building strong client relationships and contributing to successful project outcomes
• Championing safety, quality and engineering excellence in everything you do
