Jacobs is hiring an experienced dams and reservoirs professional in the UK to lead assessments, design, and delivery across critical water infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with hydrology, geotechnics, hydraulics, structures and environmental teams, ensuring safety and engineering excellence.

The role involves mentoring engineers and building strong client relationships on landmark reservoir projects. You’ll contribute to statutory inspections, remedial works, and major new dam projects, with

Qualifications

• Significant experience in dam and reservoir engineering.
• Strong knowledge of reservoir appraisal, inspection, design and asset management.
• Experience delivering projects from feasibility through detailed design.
• Ability to lead technical work and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered status or working towards it.

Responsabilités

• Deliver dam and reservoir engineering appraisal and design projects.
• Support schemes from pre-feasibility through to detailed design.
• Provide technical leadership across project work packages.
