Job summary

Darktrace is expanding its UK technical team and seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead pre-sales engagements with the largest UK enterprises. Hybrid role with office days in London and travel expectations around 20%.

You will design deployments, build strong technical relationships, and shape business cases while staying current with cyber security trends and competitive differentiation.

Qualifications

• Experience selling and ideally implementing security operations and technology in large, complex enterprises.
• Proven success in selling to FTSE 100 customers.
• Strong knowledge of on-premise and cloud networking.
• Deep knowledge in the cyber security domain.
• Experience in public speaking and senior-level presentations.
• Experience defining security strategies and driving aligned outcomes.
• Practical understanding of threat actor TTPs.
• Certifications: Security+, CISSP, CEH, Pen Testing, Incident Response. AWS/Azure fundamentals preferred.
• STEM degree preferred.
• Other analytical studies considered.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage pre-sales deployments with sales counterpart for large UK companies.
• Develop technical relationships with customers and partners as a trusted advisor.
• Document success criteria and business case materials.
• Support responses to RFIs/RFPs.
• Design deployment plans and architectures with the implementation team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends to differentiate against competitors.
• Evangelise Darktrace products at events with partners and customers.
• Contribute to go-to-market and product direction.
