Job summary

Gravitas Group in Manchester is seeking a (Senior) Cyber Development Underwriter to join our growing Professional Risks team. The role focuses on underwriting cyber risks for SME and Mid-Market clients, with responsibilities spanning risk analysis, pricing, and contract negotiations in line with underwriting strategy.

You will work with brokers, help grow the Cyber product in the UK, and participate in client visits and market events.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience of underwriting Cyber business.
• Demonstrated business development skills and technical underwriting knowledge.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite profitable cyber insurance risks for SME/Mid-Market clients (risks up to £100m revenue).
• Pricing and contract negotiations in line with underwriting strategy.
• Deliver great service to brokers and develop UK Cyber product through broker engagement.
• Identify new opportunities through proactive business development and broker relationships.
• Write new business and renewals, supporting Cyber policies as needed.
