The leading global insurance business is seeking a Senior Cyber Underwriter to join its regional team. Based in the UK, the role focuses on underwriting Cyber business across new business and renewals, while acting as a senior technical resource and mentoring junior underwriters.

You will develop a profitable Cyber portfolio, manage broker relationships, and contribute to the growth of the regional Cyber proposition. Strong technical Cyber expertise and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Good technical understanding of Cyber risks and the wider Cyber market.
• Experience managing a portfolio and making underwriting decisions.
• Comfortable acting as a senior technical resource and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Strong broker and stakeholder management skills.
• Candidates from a Cyber broking background may also be considered where they can demonstrate strong technical Cyber expertise.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new business and renewals across Cyber.
• Manage and develop a profitable portfolio of Cyber business.
• Act as a senior technical referral point for the wider team.
• Support and mentor Junior Underwriters.
• Develop strong broker relationships and identify new business opportunities.
