Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC in Manchester is seeking a Senior Cyber Development Underwriter to join the UK SME team. You will underwrite profitable cyber risks for SME/Mid‑Market clients, manage pricing, coverage, and broker relationships, with a focus on growth and quality.

Hybrid role: four days in the Manchester office and one day remote. You will partner with the UK Cyber Leader, develop the cyber product, engage brokers in person and virtually, and support renewals and new business while maintaining

Qualifications

• Extensive experience underwriting cyber business, standalone or with PI.
• Proven ability to develop business and build broker relationships.
• Strong written and oral communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently or with the team.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite profitable cyber insurance risks for SME/Mid-Market (up to £100m revenue).
• Pricing, coverage analysis and contract negotiation in line with guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality service to brokers and develop cyber product in the UK.
• Identify opportunities to grow the business through broker engagement and visits.
• Support renewals and provide guidance to colleagues on cyber policies.
