VIQU Ltd, Glasgow, is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to bolster security operations, focusing on threat detection, incident response, and robust security controls across infrastructure, apps, and endpoints.

In this hands-on role you’ll mentor junior analysts, coordinate with global teams, and drive continuous improvement of security KPIs and SLAs within a hybrid Glasgow office setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security operations with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
• Experience with SIEM technologies and security monitoring across complex environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and security framework controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead monitoring, investigation, and response to security alerts and incidents using SIEM and other tools.
• Analyse logs, network data, and threat intel to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Manage complex security incidents from containment to remediation.
• Implement and optimise security controls across infrastructure and endpoints.
• Mentor Junior Analysts and support BAU security operations.
• Collaborate with IT and infra teams to strengthen security practices.
• Maintain security documentation per ISO 27001 and track KPIs/SLAs.
