Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Rota shifts providing coverage between am - pm, Monday – Friday.

Role purpose:

The key purpose of the role is to be the Senior Engineering resource within a defined team with supervisory responsibilities. The role involves ensuring that the local team effectively delivers scheduled engineering services, balancing operational risks related to service delivery, cost, health & safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that the local team understands daily work priorities.
  • Overseeing delivery against work plans.
  • Utilising data & insights from dashboards to help the Delivery Manager drive performance related to utilisation, SLA delivery & quality.
  • Working closely with the Training team to ensure team skills, competencies, and security clearances are appropriate.
  • Assisting in performance management to ensure standards are met and company values are upheld.
  • Ensuring operational delivery, managing risks, and engaging with employees, customers, and environments.
  • Serving as the technical point of escalation within the local team and potentially wider across SCC.

  • Ability to multitask, be flexible, and work in a dynamic environment.

  • Security clearance required.
