Position Summary

Delinea is seeking a talented Senior Advanced Support Engineer to join our global technical support team. This role involves working across multiple teams to resolve complex customer issues. Candidates should have a development background, ability to analyze code, and work systematically through challenging cases in complex environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with our worldwide customers and internal teams.

As a Senior Advanced Support Engineer at Delinea, you will be part of a collaborative environment creating software used by thousands of IT professionals worldwide.

This position reports to the Advanced Support Team Manager within the Support organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and understand new and existing code quickly.
  • Troubleshoot complex software or environmental issues.
  • Focus on resolving complex issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with product management, development, quality assurance, and senior support teams to resolve customer challenges.
  • Document troubleshooting techniques and train team members accordingly.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • 5+ years of experience with C++, C#, MS SQL Server, PGSQL, LDAP/Active Directory, and related technologies.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented principles, the .NET Framework, and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP), basic system administration, and security fundamentals like encryption, SSL/TLS.
  • Experience with non-Windows platforms (*NIX and macOS).
  • Ability to develop troubleshooting tools to enhance support efficiency.
  • Knowledge of cloud services such as O365, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members and be on-call for critical issues.
