Ingage is a dynamic and growing boutique marketing agency based in the heart of Covent Garden, London, and we’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior CRM Manager to join our talented team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate CRM professional to take a leading role in delivering impactful client projects and contributing to the agency's growth. You will be responsible for providing strategic consultancy and supporting technical implementation for prestigious brands, such as The Financial Times, Carwow, and Printed.com.
Responsibilities
General:
- Lead client projects end-to-end, from initial brief to final delivery, ensuring projects are on time and within budget.
- Effectively manage tasks, prioritise workloads, and collaborate with internal team members, providing clear briefs and guidance.
- Contribute to the training and development of junior team members, sharing your expertise and best practices.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, proactively identifying opportunities to grow accounts and expand the agency's support.
Strategic Consultancy:
- Develop and articulate omnichannel customer lifecycle strategies tailored to client objectives.
- Define audience segmentation frameworks to drive targeted communications.
- Provide expert advice on personalisation strategies to deliver relevant customer experiences.
- Offer wider CRM consultancy, guiding clients on best practices and innovative approaches.
- Advise clients on how to maximise the value of their martech stack.
- Develop clear and concise data briefs and content briefs to facilitate effective campaign execution.
Technical Implementation:
- Support the technical implementation of CRM strategies across various platforms.
- Manage and execute CRM campaigns across key channels (email, mobile push, SMS).
- Develop and implement robust testing and optimisation strategies (A/B testing, multivariate testing).
- Provide comprehensive reporting and insightful analytics on campaign performance and customer behaviour.
- Support the setup and management of data hygiene processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR).
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to CRM implementation and campaign execution, working with relevant teams to find timely resolutions.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and training materials for processes and platforms.
- Stay updated on the latest technical features and updates within relevant CRM and marketing automation platforms to leverage new capabilities.
Experience
- 5+ years of demonstrable marketing experience within a dedicated CRM, engagement, or retention role.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience across key CRM channels, including email marketing, mobile push notifications, and SMS marketing.
- Familiarity with additional customer engagement channels such as paid media, paid social advertising, and web personalisation.
- Proven in-platform experience and strong working knowledge of a mix of key customer engagement tools, such as (but not limited to) Klaviyo, Iterable, dotdigital, Marketo, Braze, Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Familiarity with at least one Customer Data Platform (CDP) tool such as Segment, Bloomreach, Tealium, or BlueConic.

- Proactive in staying abreast of the latest industry innovations, trends, and emerging technologies in the CRM landscape.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives and articulate complex ideas with confidence to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of relevant CRM KPIs and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
