Job Description:

Take the lead in global nuclear safety.

Join us as a Senior Criticality Safety Engineer in our Nuclear & Power Division, and play a vital role designing complex new schemes to protect our clients' assets. We support delivery on various client projects across the nuclear industry, including new build, generation, defence, decommissioning, and disposal sectors.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting project delivery from initiation to completion, either within AtkinsRealis or at client sites.
• Leading multi-disciplinary teams in highly regulated nuclear environments.
• Enhancing radiation protection and safety procedures.
• Contributing to bids, proposals, and fostering a safety culture.

What you can bring:

• Degree in physics, chemistry, mechanical, chemical, or process engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with industry-recognized radiation transport codes such as MCNP, MONK, SCALE.
• Proven delivery of criticality assessments and documentation like HAZANS, CANs, and CCCs.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams as a criticality safety engineer.
• Leadership, teamwork, and project management skills.
