Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Building Design Practice is seeking experienced Associate Director/Associate/Principal/Senior Electrical Design Engineers for the UK (Epsom or London). You will lead the design of LV/MV electrical systems, renewables connections to the grid, and collaborate with the BIM team to deliver high-quality project documentation across sectors.

Qualifications

• Engineering / Electrical Engineering degree required or related subject.
• Chartered Engineer status preferred.
• Experience in design consultancy or contractor design environment essential.
• Knowledge of relevant technical standards and energy decarbonisation approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design and specification of LV/MV electrical power systems, earthing and renewable tech.
• Produce detailed calculations using ETAP, Prodesign, PV design tools; lead or supervise others.
• Collaborate with BIM team; develop models in Revit; prepare technical specifications.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections and monitor site works; maintain records.
• Write reports and technical notes; present to clients; manage project deliverables within time/cost budgets.
