AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking an experienced Associate Director/Principal/Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join Glasgow or Manchester teams. Lead electrical design across LV/MV power systems, PV/BESS integration, and Grid connections. Collaborate with BIM and manage junior staff, while ensuring quality, budget and client satisfaction.

The role offers hybrid working with home office attendance at least 3 days per week, and opportunities to work on defence and energy sectors across the UK.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related degree required.
• Chartered Engineer status preferred.
• Experience in electrical building services design across LV/MV.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical systems (LV/MV, earthing, PV/BESS).
• Produce detailed calculations using standard tools.
• Collaborate with BIM team using Revit for models/drawings.
• Conduct site surveys and monitor works; generate reports.
