Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited in the UK is seeking experienced Associate Director/Associate/Principal/Senior Electrical Design Engineers to join the Epsom or London team. You will lead the design of LV/MV power systems, renewables integration, and grid connections, with BIM collaboration and ongoing client engagement. The role involves managing deliverables, mentoring juniors, and maintaining records per QA standards.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer preferred (CIBSE or IET).
• Experience in design consultancy or contractor design environment essential.
• Able to take charge of project deliverables and budgets.
• Strong report writing and client presentation skills.
• Pro-active, able to work with initiative and lead junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems (LV & MV) and renewables connections.
• Prepare technical specifications and detailed calculations.
• Collaborate with BIM to produce models/drawings using Revit.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections and monitor site works.
• Mentor and develop junior staff; ensure quality and governance compliance.
