Job summary

AXA UK is seeking a Leader to inspire and develop a high-performing claims team, driving operational excellence and data-driven decisions in a fast-evolving insurance landscape.

In this pivotal role, you’ll shape how we deliver fast, accurate, and excellent service to customers, while championing technology, change management, and robust risk controls. You’ll work at least three days a week away from home as part of a flexible hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Lead and inspire a high-performing claims team to meet strategic objectives.
• Drive operational excellence and cost control across claims activities.
• Embed best practice standards with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Align team objectives with AXA Claims and BU strategy; ensure KPIs deliver.
• Manage resources to control claims spend while ensuring client outcomes.
• Define and embed best practice standards with internal and external partners.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team; model a goal-focused culture.
• Monitor claims spend and leakage; influence bottom line.
• Collaborate across claims to implement change initiatives with budget/resource control.
• Use feedback to improve processes and capabilities.
• Identify risks and implement improvement plans with timelines.
