Job summary

AXA XL is seeking a Senior Analyst for Underwriting Governance & Controls in the UK & Lloyd’s. You will support the Head of Underwriting Governance and regional leaders by delivering timely, accurate management information and ensuring compliance with governance standards.

You will collaborate with 2nd and 3rd lines of defense, prepare committee reports, and drive reliable dashboards to monitor performance and controls across open market and delegated authorities.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Lloyd's regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Lloyd's operations and FCA/PRA expectations for underwriting.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Solid understanding of underwriting operations and governance frameworks.
• Experience in project management and coordinating across functions.
• Experience in underwriting governance and controls is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Head of Underwriting Governance and regional leaders to ensure effective governance and controls.
• Prepare committee reports, packs and management information for governance committees.
• Create dashboards and scorecards to monitor governance performance.
• Maintain first line of defence processes across open market and delegated authority placements.
• Coordinate with Global CUO and Risk/Compliance/IA for process improvements.
• Liaise with regional product leads to strengthen controls and efficiencies.
• Monitor Lloyd's, PRA and FCA requirements and track action plans.
• Share best practices across business units.
