European Tech Recruit in Cambridge (UK) is seeking an experienced RTL Design Engineer to join a global leader in semiconductors, working with the CPU Team on high-performance, low-power devices.

You will help conceive micro-architecture with chip architects, own RTL design, and support functional and performance verification while delivering designs that meet timing, area and power goals.

Formación

• Thorough knowledge of microprocessor architecture including expertise in fetch/decode, scheduling and memory subsystems.
• Proficiency in Verilog and/or VHDL with experience in simulators and waveform debugging tools.
• Understanding of low power microarchitecture techniques and high-performance trade-offs.
• Experience RTL ownership and design verification support.

Responsabilidades

• Performance exploration with the CPU modelling team.
• Microarchitecture development and detailed specification from architecture exploration.
• RTL ownership and refinement to target power, performance, area and timing goals.
• Support functional verification and performance verification.
• Design delivery with cross-functional teams focusing on timing, area, reliability, testability and power.
