Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Cost Manager to join our Midlands team, with travel opportunities across significant UK infrastructure programmes. You’ll lead commercial activities, drive cost management, and work on airports, utilities, and transport projects.

The role requires proven quantity surveying experience, MRICS status or progression, and strong NEC contract knowledge, with a collaborative, proactive approach to project delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in quantity surveying, procurement, and/or estimating on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Degree-qualified with MRICS status or actively working towards it.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and infrastructure cost management.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial contracts, procurement, and negotiations in an NEC environment.
• Lead post-contract commercial activities, including payment approvals, cost assessments, and contract changes.
• Support contractors with transparent, data-driven cost management.
• Produce cost reports and cost forecasting and identify cost-saving opportunities.
