Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Midlands team. You will lead commercial activities on major UK infrastructure programmes, manage NEC-based contracts, and drive cost optimization across airports, utilities, and transport projects.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified, MRICS chartered or working towards it.
• Experience with NEC contracts and infrastructure cost management.
• Proven expertise in quantity surveying, procurement, and/or estimating on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Willingness to travel between sites with flexible working.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial contracts, procurement, and negotiations in an NEC environment.
• Lead post-contract activities including payment approvals and cost changes.
• Support contractors with transparent, data-driven cost reporting.
• Identify cost-saving strategies and optimize contract performance.
• Provide data-driven cost management insights for key decisions.
• Collaborate within a team for programme commercial performance.
• Ensure value for money and adherence to procedures.
