Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking professionals for the Energy & Infrastructure division within the Natural Resources team in the UK. The role focuses on cost and commercial management across major energy and infrastructure programmes, with emphasis on value engineering and governance.

You will work with client and contractor teams, drive forecast accuracy, and manage final accounts, supported by a broad knowledge base and internal best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC level qualification.
• NEC3/4 or FIDIC experience.
• Cost / commercial management experience on Energy or Infrastructure projects.
• Experience of working on major programmes or project portfolios.
• Professional Chartership (preferable).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute work effectively, identifying opportunities to add value and knowing when to act independently or escalation for support.

• Administer and manage contracts confidently, ensuring accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, change management, and control of variances and cashflow.
• Work closely with client and contractor teams to deliver on KPIs, programme performance, cost control and value engineering, ensuring projects remain within governance and best practice.
• Provide sound commercial leadership, driving improvements in forecast accuracy, offering clear commercial advice, and ensuring the timely agreement of final accounts.
• Contribute to internal excellence, including capturing lessons learned, supporting knowledge management and recommending improvements to internal systems and processes.
