Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to join the Energy & Natural Resources division in a hybrid role. You will manage cost control across multiple projects, lead cost reporting and forecasting, and collaborate with the Integrated Project Team to ensure accuracy of budgets and PMB baselines.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge of NEC/FIDIC processes. The candidate should be experienced in cost control for complex projects, able to guide

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost reporting.
• Experience leading cost control activities and assessing forecasts.
• Strong leadership, influencing and people-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across stakeholder groups.
• Familiarity with NEC or FIDIC cost procedures and PMB reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost control across multiple packages and projects within the programme.
• Develop and maintain Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and align with WBS.
• Produce and interpret cost reports, forecasts and ETC updates.
• Support change control with accurate cost information and impact assessments.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate cost status and risks.
