Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Engineer to join the Energy & Natural Resources division on a site-based assignment in Teesside. The role focuses on package-level cost management, forecasting, and performance analysis across key project scopes, aligning with progress, commercial assurance and forecast reporting.

You will work closely with Planning, QS, Commercial and Construction teams to provide clear visibility of actual costs, forecast costs, variances and emerging cost risks, supporting

Qualifications

• Cost forecasting, cost reporting, variance analysis and FTC/FCI reviews.
• Experience working with Contractor and Subcontractor cost data, progress information and package-level reporting.
• Strong Excel and cost data analysis with ability to present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide package-level cost management, forecasting and performance analysis across key project scopes.
• Support Project Controls Management by ensuring cost information is robust and aligned with progress and forecast outturn reporting.
• Interface with Planning, QS, Commercial and Construction to provide visibility of actual vs forecast costs and risks.
