AACE International is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to lead cost management activities on major infrastructure projects in the UK. The role focuses on technical leadership, data integrity, and stakeholder engagement across multi-disciplinary teams.

The position requires extensive cost forecasting experience within regulated sectors, strong governance practices, and the ability to drive scenarios, dashboards, and robust reporting for Program Directors and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum HND (or equivalent) in Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in a Cost and Forecasting role within a complex, highly regulated industry.
• Expertise: Proven track record of managing multi-stakeholder interfaces and cross-discipline integration.

Responsabilités

• Technical Leadership & Team Guidance: direct daily tasks and provide guidance to Cost Engineers and Trainee Cost Engineers.
• Contract & Data Management: oversee cost and forecast data across high-value contracts (£10m–£500m).
• Stakeholder Engagement & Decision Support: lead scenario planning workshops and present insights to boards.
• Trend & Risk Integration: connect cost data with schedule, risk, and change management.
• Reporting & Dashboards: manage data outputs within Power BI dashboards and cost reporting cycles.
• Governance & Information Security: ensure compliance with Sensitive Nuclear Information protections.
