Job summary

TES, a long-established engineering services company, seeks a Senior Cost Engineer to lead cost and forecasting activities on major infrastructure projects. You will direct a team of Cost Engineers and Trainees, oversee contract portfolios ranging from £10m to £500m, and ensure consistent cost management across EPC contexts under strict regulatory oversight.

You will champion data integrity in EcoSys and SAP, deliver scenario planning with Program Directors, and drive high-quality cost reporting

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum HND (or equivalent) in Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in a Cost and Forecasting role within a complex, regulated industry.
• Expertise: Proven leadership and multi-stakeholder interfaces across project controls disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Leadership to Cost Engineers and Trainee Cost Engineers.
• Oversee cost and forecast data across high-value contracts (£10m–£500m).
• Ensure data integrity in EcoSys, SAP and CBS/WBS.
• Lead scenario planning and present insights to Boards/Reviews.
• Integrate cost data with schedule, risk and change management.
• Manage and verify cost reporting in Power BI dashboards.
