NSG Environmental Ltd is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer in Aldermaston to lead cost management on high-complexity projects. You will act as the technical lead and SPOC for cost matters, guiding Project Cost Engineers and Analysts while promoting robust cost controls and reporting.

You will work under the Cost Engineering Manager, ensuring accurate forecasts, EACs and risk assessment, with a focus on delivery, governance and continuous improvement within a nuclear project environment.

Qualifications

• Requires qualification in Project Controls, Cost Management, Finance or equivalent
• Membership or working towards a professional body is desirable
• Higher-level qualification in project controls/finance desirable
• Leadership/mentoring training desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management activities on high-complexity projects
• Line-manage and develop Project Cost Engineers and Analysts
• Ensure consistent application of Cost Management standards and reporting
• Provide cost insight, assurance and challenge to support decision making
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align on performance and risk
