Job summary

Assystem is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to lead the Cost and Forecasting team on a major HPC project in Bridgwater, UK. You will direct workload, mentor Cost Engineers, and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting across CBS/WBS.

The role requires collaboration with IPC, PCM teams, risk leads and Tier 1 contractors to maintain robust cost insights. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in cost control, governance, and the use of EcoSys, SAP and Power BI.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of HND or equivalent qualification in project management, project controls, engineering, or related field.
  • At least ten years senior level experience in a Cost and Forecasting team in a complex, highly regulated industry.
  • Experience of using Cost and Forecasting tools and delivering project insight.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain accurate cost and forecasting aligned with CBS/WBS.
  • Lead Cost and Forecasting management and training to the Programme/Area team and apprentices.
  • Deliver reliable Cost and Forecasting reports to defined schedules with insightful commentary.
  • Collaborate across organisational boundaries to achieve mutually successful outcomes.
