An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Corporate Legal Counsel to join a newly created Investments team within a high-profile communications and technology business. Known for its influence in the telecoms space, this company has been at the forefront of mobile and digital transformation for decades.

This important and strategic role will provide legal advice across the investment team, including supporting the team on joint ventures, minority stake investments, divestments, post M&A integrations, risk management, and dispute resolution.

They are looking for someone with strong joint venture experience, gained within an in-house environment, who is comfortable managing transformational programmes.

The Role will Include:

• M&A, Joint Ventures, Investments/Divestments
• Legal advice and strategic business partnering to the Investments Director
• Advising the business on structuring and negotiating related strategic programmes across the globe
• Leading transformation initiatives to support key business objectives, enabling growth and improving operational excellence
• Legal advice to board directors and senior business stakeholders on complex matters related to investments
• Advising board directors and senior business stakeholders on complex contractual matters, ensuring contractual compliance

Essential Experience Includes:

An experienced corporate lawyer with at least 8 years PQE.

Must have worked in-house.

Knowledge of the telecoms or infrastructure sector.

Proven ability to operate efficiently, including delivering change programmes on time, within budget, and for impact.

Dynamic and strategic mindset.
