Job Description:

Meraki Talent is working with a leading global listed technology company to help them identify a Legal Counsel (Bespoke Drafting).

Fully remote working

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Serving as a strategic business partner for their software and cloud solutions teams.
• Engaging in strategic planning, contract development, and business strategy with software and cloud solutions teams.
• Working with Product Managers to draft and review complex technical scope descriptions and pricing documents for new products and services.
• Performing complex bespoke drafting, including formulating end-to-end flow-down terms and developing complex contracting structures.
• Developing and maintaining forms, templates, standards, and automation for software and cloud solutions delivery.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with service partners, suppliers, and other IT sector contracts.
• Providing general legal advice to key stakeholders.
• Collaborating with Regional General Counsels and associate lawyers on negotiations and risk assessment of customer agreements.
• Advising on risks associated with contract provisions and providing solutions, including data protection aspects in cooperation with the Group Data Protection Counsel.
• Keeping the Group Legal and Compliance team informed on developments in the software and cloud solutions segments.
• Training the Business and Legal teams on legal and compliance aspects of these segments.

In terms of experience, we are looking for:

• A degree in law.
• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably as in-house counsel in a multinational IT company with outsourcing experience.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in drafting, preparing, and negotiating commercial contracts with customers and suppliers.
• Experience reviewing complex technical scope descriptions and pricing.
• Experience working with Product Managers on new product/service development, pricing, and rollout cycles.
• Excellent communication, bespoke drafting, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
