Job summary

Qualifications

• Essential ACA or ACCA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Desirable FCA or FCCA.
• Experience leading audits and accounts preparation.

Responsibilities

• To provide excellent service to clients on a cost effective and timely basis.
• To respond to client queries in a timely manner (including HMRC).
• Seek to progress role and delegate more routine work to others to aid cost-effectiveness and training.
• To develop knowledge of clients and become their day-to-day contact.
• To review and finalise audit files, accounts and corporation tax work.
• To complete staff appraisal forms providing feedback and training.
• Identify business opportunities and assist partners with value-added assignments.
• Assist partners in controlling WIP and billing points.
• Monitor progress against deadlines (Companies House, group reporting, tax returns).
• Ensure work is planned and progressed efficiently and cost-effectively.
