Job summary

Ellacotts LLP is seeking an experienced audit professional to plan, organise and manage a portfolio of corporate clients within the Corporate Services department. The role focuses on audit, accounts preparation and outsourcing work, with emphasis on client service, efficiency and team development.

You will work with partners to deliver high-quality services, supervise staff, manage WIP and billing, and contribute to practice development and client growth.

Qualifications

• Essential ACA or ACCA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Desirable FCA or FCCA.
• Essential: 2+ years post‑qualification audit practice experience.
• Essential: 2+ years' experience managing staff in a practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of audit, accounts and corporate tax work for clients.
• Review and finalise audit files and accounts prepared by junior staff, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Develop deep knowledge of clients’ businesses and act as day-to-day contact.
• Identify business opportunities and support partners with advisory work.
• Monitor WIP and billing, and ensure deadlines are met.
