Addington Ball Limited in Banbury is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead a varied portfolio of corporate clients, from planning through to completion, while nurturing a talented team and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will review audit files and financial statements, share practical advice with partners, and help shape efficient working practices as the firm continues its regional expansion and progression.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
• Strong background in audit and accounts within an accountancy practice.
• Experience leading audits and supervising colleagues.
• Comfortable building relationships with clients and providing practical, commercially focused advice.
• Someone who enjoys developing people, sharing ideas and taking ownership.
• Knowledge of corporate taxation, with charities or academies an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of corporate clients, becoming their trusted adviser and main point of contact.
• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring a high-quality client experience.
• Review audit files, statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
• Coach, mentor and develop junior colleagues, helping them build confidence and progress their careers.
• Work closely with partners on advisory projects, business planning and new opportunities.
• Help shape efficient working practices and contribute to the continued development of the audit team.
