Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification or equivalent experience.
• FCA or FCCA desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification proven experience in an audit practice environment.
• Experience managing staff within a practice environment.
• Desirable: experience working with charities and academies.

Responsibilities

• Provide a cost-efficient, high-quality service to clients.
• Respond to client queries and HMRC promptly.
• Mentor staff by delegating tasks and providing training.
• Develop knowledge of clients to be their day-to-day contact.
• Review and finalise audit files, accounts and tax work by juniors.
• Support partners with value-added assignments such as planning and advisory work.
• Help control WIP and manage billing; liaise with partners on billing.
• Monitor deadlines for Companies House filings, group reporting, P11Ds and tax returns.
• Plan and progress work efficiently with Partners to meet deadlines.
