Job summary

Curtis Recruitment Limited is seeking an Audit Senior for a well-established accountancy practice at its Banbury office. The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified and possess substantial audit experience gained within a UK accountancy firm.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with extensive audit experience in a UK accountancy firm.
• Up-to-date knowledge of audit standards and FRS 102.
• Experience with charities is advantageous and accounts preparation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the delivery of audits for complex clients.
• Plan and scope audit assignments, allocate resources and set deadlines.
• Manage and undertake audit assignments efficiently and effectively.
• Identify risks and evaluate internal controls, making improvements.
• Liaise with Directors and clients throughout planning and delivery.
• Prepare clear, high-quality audit reports for Directors and clients.
• Supervise junior team members and support their development.
• Provide financial information and guidance to clients.
