A leading UK university in Newcastle is seeking a skilled copywriter to lead content creation for a curriculum transformation project. The successful candidate will work with various teams to develop engaging educational content while ensuring SEO best practices are implemented. Responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders, creating multi-channel content strategies, and utilizing analytical tools. This is a fixed-term role for two years with a competitive salary package.

Are you a skilled and creative copywriter? At Newcastle University we are embarking on an exciting curriculum transformation project, and we are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead on copywriting and content creation across our portfolio of courses and associated education focused marketing assets.
In this role, you will be part of our Content Team in Central Marketing, working in close collaboration with a core Project team. You will plan, create and edit effective content for this project across a wide variety of media, to support our content strategy and strategic objectives. You will liaise with key stakeholders around the University to gather education insights and requirements, creating inspiring course focussed content to convey key messaging and engage and convert our key target audiences.
In addition, you will support wider content creation across our various digital and print channels, monitoring user behaviour across social channels and search engines to identify the most valuable content opportunities. Crucially, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring SEO best practice is followed at the University, working alongside the Head of Content, the Content and SEO Manager, and the Web team.
