Job summary

G MASS Consulting, working with a leading Hedge Fund, is seeking a Compliance professional in London to join its global Compliance function. The role blends process know-how with data fluency, covering BAU control room duties and data-driven improvement projects.

The candidate should have strong SQL/data skills, experience with restriction lists, position limit monitoring, and governance around information barriers. A 12-month contract with high earning potential and extension options is offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SQL experience essential.
• Data analysis skills for monitoring and reporting.
• Comfort building tools and automating data flows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain restriction lists and watchlists with accuracy and timely updates.
• Monitor position limits across asset classes and investigate breaches or data anomalies.
• Support MNPI controls, information barriers and disclosures.
• Assist sanctions screening and large/short position reporting obligations.
• Act as a day-to-day contact for queries on restriction, limit and conflicts.
