Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineer to lead design, integration and delivery of high-integrity systems across nuclear and regulated projects, with flexible hybrid opportunities between Grimsby Hessle and other sites.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with IEC standards, and guide testing, commissioning and handover while engaging with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Experience designing control systems for nuclear or similarly regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 61508/61511 or equivalent.
• Experience with design, testing and lifecycle management of instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and deliver high-integrity control and instrumentation systems for nuclear projects.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear safety requirements, standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide innovative technical solutions.
• Support testing, verification, commissioning and handover activities.
• Engage with clients, regulators and suppliers to meet technical requirements.
