Job summary
Cavendish Nuclear seeks a Principal Control and Instrumentation Engineer to lead the design, development and assurance of C&I systems across defence, energy and critical infrastructure projects. Based at Grimsby/Hessle with hybrid working options, you will direct testing, commissioning and stakeholder engagement to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Control or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status or eligibility to achieve it.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, integration and assurance of control and instrumentation systems across complex projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration with other engineering disciplines and safety requirements.
- Act as technical authority ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality and nuclear safety standards.
- Direct testing, commissioning and system acceptance activities for safe, reliable operation.
- Engage with clients, regulators and suppliers to support project delivery.
