Job summary

MTR Partnership in West Yorkshire is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager / Operations Manager to oversee multiple construction projects from start to finish. You will lead delivery teams, support Contracts Managers and site teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to quality.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Contracts Manager or similar senior operational role.
• Strong main contracting background across general building projects.
• Proven experience overseeing multiple projects and managing delivery teams.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project profitability.
• Confident dealing with clients, subcontractors and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of multiple construction projects from start to completion.
• Manage and support Contracts Managers, Project Managers and site teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality.
• Monitor operational performance, resources and project risks.
• Work closely with commercial and pre-construction teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Work alongside the Managing Director to improve processes and support business growth.
