Job summary

National Gas Transmission PLC is seeking a Senior Contracts Officer in Warwick with a focus on managing and developing relationships in gas system management services. This role requires strong contract management skills and offers a competitive salary package ranging from £55,000 to £60,000 based on experience.

The successful candidate will engage in negotiations, ensure service efficiency, and be involved in industry governance, all while benefiting from a hybrid work environment and additional perks including an annual performance bonus and extensive holiday options.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, procurement and contract management skills, and the ability to manage and deliver multiple activities.
• Strong interpersonal skills, especially in the areas of influencing and negotiating.
• Working knowledge of regulated industry, particularly around the commercial and incentive regime.
• Experience of quantitative analysis and risk management.
• Excellent organisational, reporting and planning skills with a high level of initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop strong relationships with Gas System Management Services providers.
• Lead and manage standard Gas System Management and Data Services Contracts.
• Development and negotiation of Gas System Management Services Contracts.
• Drive efficiency in activities performed by service providers.
• Lead the development of 'Balancing Services' contracts and procurement events.
• Represent National Gas in Industry governance committees.
• Ensure timely and robust financial regulatory reporting.
