Job summary

Sustainable Talent is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager - Gas Infrastructure on a 2-year contract based in Cheshire/North West. The role leads the commercial function for a gas infra project, from start to final account, with strong focus on CVR, forecasting and reporting to senior management.

You will set subcontract strategy, manage change and compensation events, and mentor a commercial team. NEC contracts expertise and gas sector experience are highly valued. Hybrid working arranged.

Qualifications

• Senior Commercial Manager or Commercial Manager with contractor experience.
• Background in infrastructure, utilities or energy projects.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Proven track record in CVR, forecasting and change management.
• Experience leading or mentoring a commercial team.
• Gas sector experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial position on a gas infrastructure project from start to final account.
• Act as senior commercial lead and provide CVR, forecasting and reporting to senior management.
• Manage change and compensation events and set subcontract strategy.
• Collaborate closely with the client’s commercial team.
• Support and develop QSs on the project.

Job Title: Senior Commercial Manager - Gas Infrastructure

Job Type: Contract (2-year project)

Location: Cheshire / North West. Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home.

Projects:
A UK infrastructure contractor is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to take ownership of the commercial position on a gas infrastructure project. You ll be the senior commercial lead from start to final account. The role covers CVR, forecasting and reporting to senior management, managing change and compensation events, setting subcontract strategy and working closely with the client s commercial team. You ll also support and develop the QSs on the project.

Experience:

• Senior Commercial Manager or Commercial Manager experience with a contractor


• A background in infrastructure, utilities or energy projects


• Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts


• A proven track record in CVR, forecasting and change management


• Experience leading or mentoring a commercial team


• Gas sector experience is desirable

Salary and Package:
Up to GBP700 a day IR35 status 2-year project Hybrid working
