Fawkes & Reece London seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of a major water and wastewater infrastructure programme across the South of England. You will oversee contract delivery, lead operational teams and manage client relationships to ensure projects run safely, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or senior operations role.
• Strong background in water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Experience managing complex contracts and multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of contract administration, budgets and programme management.
• Experience with NEC contract forms and change management.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to lead teams and resolve operational challenges.
• Commitment to health and safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Construction or civil engineering qualifications with professional/safety accreditations.

Responsabilités

• Take overall responsibility for safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of the contract.
• Lead and develop project and operational teams to meet programme objectives.
• Oversee planning, programming, resource allocation and multi-workstream coordination.
• Manage contract budgets, costs, financial performance and commercial risks.
• Build relationships with client, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, performance and productivity; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental standards, and contractual obligations.
• Manage contract variations and NEC/contractual change.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and performance.
• Provide clear reporting on programme, finances, risks and KPIs.
• Foster accountability and continuous improvement.
