Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead civils and water sector projects across the Welsh region. The role can be permanent or long-term contract, with work in Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and surrounding areas.

You will manage site staff and subcontractors, prepare programmes, monitor budgets, and ensure safety, quality, and environmental policy compliance. Strong leadership and planning are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have project management experience in civils/water sectors.
• Relevant industry qualifications (HND/HNC/BEng or NVQ6+) and SMSTS.
• CSCS card; First Aid at Work desirable.

Responsibilities

• Management of site staff operatives and sub-contractors.
• Preparing and monitoring programmes of work.
• Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments and project management plans.
• Understand tender allowances and monitor contract costs against budgets.
• Manage design co-ordination and sub-contractor engagement.
• Understand and administer contract changes and effective stakeholder communication.
• Travel throughout the Southern Region as required.
