Qualifications

• Significant experience working for a contractor on a mix of water and wastewater projects.
• Strong programme or major project leadership experience within the water infrastructure sector.
• Excellent commercial, contractual and risk management capabilities.
• Experience managing client relationships and engaging effectively with design organisations and supply chain partners.
• Broad understanding of civil, mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines.
• Knowledge of advanced treatment processes.
• Relevant project management accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, high-quality delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects across the AMP8 programme
• Manage programme performance across cost, schedule, margin, cash flow and commercial objectives
• Ensure projects meet regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with United Utilities, design organisations and other stakeholders
• Drive programme growth and support the development of future framework opportunities
• Lead, support and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary delivery team
• Manage key supply chain partners and promote effective contractual and commercial performance
• Champion innovation, modern methods of construction, sustainable solutions and improved delivery processes
