Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to support the AMP8 programme across Thames Valley, Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds. You will drive delivery of multi‑million projects (£2.5m–£25m) through leadership of Project Managers, Site Managers and engineers.

The role focuses on operational leadership, financial control and strong client relationships with Thames Water, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple projects in a main contractor environment.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Financial management and risk/ budget oversight are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a portfolio of water infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery against programme, budget, quality and safety targets.
• Provide operational leadership and development to project teams.
• Build strong relationships with Thames Water and stakeholders for effective collaboration.
• Oversee commercial performance, project budgets, and resource planning.
• Drive continuous improvement and compliance with health and safety requirements.
