Jaydee-Brook is an established and successful Shopfitting & Internal Fit Out Company based in Peterborough. With over 35 years’ experience in retail, commercial, industrial installations and refurbishments, the Company has built a strong reputation for quality, efficiency and service.

As part of our expansion programme we are currently looking to recruit an experienced:

SENIOR CONTRACTS MANAGER - Shopfitting & Internal Fit Out Industry


Location: Peterborough based

Working on projects covering the UK & Ireland


Hours: Full Time - Monday - Friday


Salary: £70,000 + p.a - Dependent on experience & capabilities

Holidays: 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Pension: Workplace company pension scheme

Vehicle: A Company vehicle or allowance will be offered

Our Company prides itself on high standards, professionalism and quality of project delivery. Working with numerous blue-chip clients, we are now looking for a Senior Contracts Manager who has experience within the shopfitting or internal fit out sector with a capability in delivering superior quality projects to high profile clients.

The Senior Contracts Manager will play a critical role in driving the business revenue and growth initiatives for the client to which they are assigned. The Senior Contracts Manager will deliver key commercial projects alongside the existing Directors, using a combination of commercial acumen, industry experience, professionalism and analytical and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organise and control sufficient direct or sub-contract labour to carry out the works to programme.
• Assist in negotiation and procurement and management of sub-contract works packages.
• Organise and control materials and required products to undertake the scheduled works.
• Formulate a programme to reflect the contract period integrating all sub-contractors to ensure the targets are met, prepare progress reports for progress meetings.
• Control accurate costs, keeping records of site variations and programme issues, reporting back to the Account Manager.
• Be responsible for profit margin by effective use of labour, rationalising and improving methods of working.
• Manage all aspects of site Health & Safety as set down by Jaydee-Brook’s H&S Policy.
• Attend site meetings and briefings, prestart, in progress and upon completion, report back to the Directors the content of such meetings & any issues that may affect the safety, efficient progress or financial status of the project.
• To regularly review all departmental processes for purchasing, contract management and cost control ensuring the Companies Policies & Procedures are adhered to and to provide training reviews to maintain the same.
• To ensure that the Company is maintaining its due diligence, statutory obligations and monitor protection in the industry marketplace when delivering projects.
• To provide costing analysis to monitor and maintain the Company performance against each project.
• Ensuring working practices are efficient on site and implementing and managing the general policies and procedures to the team .

• Ability to work as part of a close knit management team and manage numerous activities simultaneously.
• A Prince2 Project Management qualification
