We are recruiting for a Senior Export Contract Manager to work for a leading Defence organisation on a contract basis. The role will be hybrid, with 3 days on-site in Stevenage or Bristol and 2 days remote.

Preferred qualifications: Defence background (not vital), senior line manager experience, and experience in delivering commercial contracts.

Job Title: Senior Export Contract Manager

Working arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days on-site per week)

Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship.

The opportunity:

Join the Programmes Export Operations Directorate as an Export Contract Manager, demonstrating commercial, financial, and project management skills to lead complex export contracts.

Key responsibilities:

1. Lead the commercial interface with international government and military customers.
2. Manage multiple international contracts simultaneously.
3. Ensure timely delivery and maintain excellent customer relationships.
4. Proactively manage risks and resolve issues.
5. Lead customer acceptance events and manage contractual payments.
6. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
7. Negotiate contract amendments and support business development.
8. Collaborate with international partners in France, Spain, and Italy.
