Job summary

Sweco is seeking a Contract Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Infrastructure & Environment Division. The role supports pre- and post-contract commercial requirements, reports to the Commercial Director, and works across our Glasgow, Edinburgh, London or Ipswich offices with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Applicants should have several years in commercial/contract management, NEC3/NEC4 knowledge, and a degree in a related field. UK travel is required.

Qualifications

• Several years’ experience in a similar commercial/contracts management role.
• Experience of highways or energy sectors preferable but not essential.
• Knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts with focus on change, payment and programme.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractual operations of project managers, engineers and administrators.
• Provide governance on commercial strategy and lead contract negotiations.
• Lead commercial functions of change, risk, payment and programme.
• Conduct commercial audits and report findings to the Department Manager.
• Provide analysis and reporting on project cashflow, costs and profitability.
